ABOUT

Tarweedeh Collective is a collective built to celebrate Palestinian culture through the art of Dabke.

Offering Dabke classes in addition to our performance troupe known as well as “Nabad Troupe”

Nabad/nabd/نبض means pulse. A sign of life—the louder we stomp, the faster we breathe, the stronger the pulse, and the more we hold on.

Nabad, formerly known as Raqset Ard, was established in 2024 by a group of activists dedicated to honouring and keeping Palestinian cultural heritage alive through celebrating dabke. Dabke means to stomp, and through stomping together Nabad have become stronger and more connected with the land of Palestine and beyond.

Inspired by the true Palestinian spirit, Nabad affirms that their hope will never be dampened, their dedication will never be diminished, and with each stomp they come closer to justice and to a free Palestine.
