Ramon Castillanes Teñoso is a highly acclaimed and gritty playwright and storyteller. His captivating story Migrants was first performed in 2012 and is now being restaged in November here at Theatro Technis.
This is the story of the lives of migrants, both in this country and abroad, combined with a cutting-edge theatre production and staging.
We are restaging the play to coincide with the filming of Migrants, which is our first filming project as a group. Work on the film started late last year and we hope to have completed the filming before Christmas and have it edited ready for inclusion in international film festivals during next year.
We are a non-profit organisation and 10% of our ticket sales is donated to charity.
Our current nominated charity is the Digkilaan High School, Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines. This school serves the local jungle communities for children up to the age of 16. They have very little resources and our donations help to provide schooling materials.
