Theatre A`part will perform Game of Life and Death in the Ash Desert'. After a big catastrophe, most likely a World military conflict, only three people are left on Earth. The Father, Avel and Anna. They live in the ash desert among what’s left of their lives. Each one of them has their occupation and is looking for a reason to continue to live. Kine’s surprising arrival radically changes everyone’s life. Love, hate, hope, passion and jealousy are intertwined. Will this storm of passions and undercurrents be the reason for the self-destruction of all life left on Earth? Or will a new future be born?

The company was created in 1985 (PhD. Sasho Petkov) as a students underground theatrical formation, directed in experimental area of avant-garde theatre. After the democratic changes in Bulgaria, ‘A`part’became one of the first professional alternative, non- subsidised theatres in the country.

Friday 5th May Time TBA

Theatre A`part will host a workshop we will be able to demonstrate their methids, which is called Collective Directed Theatrical Improvisation, with the participation of the attending fellow-actors. The title we suggest is “Corners of Time”. During this workshop, the willing attendees will create a theatrical miniature. The company will demonstrate their method in action, and after that they are going to give creative explanations and put specific tasks to each of the participants. This will be followed by building of a stage setting and the participants, under the guidance of the performer, Sasho Petkov, patticipants embark on a directed improvisation aiming to create a complete theatrical improvised form – spectacle.
